It is not difficult to fit these components if you are an average DIY'er. If you can put up shelves or curtain rails you should be OK, but if you would normally "get someone in" to do these jobs, it may well be better if you asked a fitter or kitchen showroom to do them for you.

That depends on how large your kitchen is and whether any unforeseen problems are encountered. Professional fitters will probably be able to complete an average kitchen in a single day, although it might sometimes take two days. If you do it yourself it will probably take longer but remember, you can replace the doors and drawers just one at a time and you'll soon get the hang of it.
